The OHMITE HPW series high-precision welded axial and radial resistors are engineered for demanding applications requiring exceptional stability and accuracy. Featuring an all-welded construction and a molded thermosetting plastic bobbin, these resistors exhibit extremely low thermal EMF and a low voltage coefficient. The butt weld of the tab to the terminal minimizes DC transients, while the optimized bobbin design contributes to overall stability. Encapsulated in a thermosetting alkyd polyester material, the HPW series resistors are virtually homogeneous, unaffected by temperature cycling or solvents.
