OHMITE's 280 Series Corrib[®] fixed and adjustable vitreous enamel power resistors are engineered for demanding applications involving high currents at very low resistance values. These heavy-duty resistors are designed to withstand frequent start-stop cycles, making them suitable for motor starting, dynamic braking, and similar applications. The corrugated resistive wire is securely fused to the ceramic core with a protective vitreous enamel coating, enhancing durability. Hollow-core design allows for secure mounting to chassis surfaces. RoHS compliant versions are available.
