These resistors are designed to withstand frequent start-stop cycles and are suitable for motor starting, dynamic braking, and other similar applications. Manufactured with corrugated resistive wire and a protective vitreous enamel coating, Corrib resistors offer improved durability and efficient cooling. RoHS compliant versions are available by adding an “E” suffix to the part number. The hollow-core design facilitates secure fastening to chassis surfaces.
