Ohmite's 280 Series Corrib[®] fixed and adjustable vitreous enamel power resistors are engineered for demanding applications involving high currents and very low resistance values. These resistors are ideal for motor starting, dynamic braking, and other applications requiring frequent start-stop cycles. Constructed with corrugated resistive wire fused to a ceramic core, they offer enhanced durability and cooling. RoHS compliant versions are available, and special order units can accommodate up to 1500 watts. The hollow-core design allows for secure mounting to chassis surfaces.
