OHMITE's 280 Series Corrib[®] Fixed and Adjustable Vitreous Enamel Power Resistors are engineered for applications requiring high currents at very low resistance values. These heavy-duty resistors are designed to withstand frequent start-stop cycles commonly found in motor starting, dynamic braking, and similar industrial processes. The corrugated resistive wire is securely fused to a ceramic core with a protective vitreous enamel coating, enhancing durability and promoting rapid cooling. Available with silicone coating for higher wattage applications, these resistors offer a robust and reliable solution for demanding power management needs.
