OHMITE's 280 Series Corrib[®] fixed and adjustable vitreous enamel power resistors are engineered for applications requiring high currents at very low resistance values. These heavy-duty resistors are designed to withstand frequent start-stop cycles and are suitable for motor starting, dynamic braking, and similar applications. The corrugated resistive wire is securely fused to a ceramic core with a protective vitreous enamel coating, enhancing durability. Available with silicone coating for higher wattage models, these resistors offer excellent performance and reliability in industrial settings. RoHS compliant versions are available by adding an 'E' suffix to the part number.
