Studio Condenser Microphone The CM-2250 is a beautifully constructed condenser microphone designed for general purpose and recording. It utilizes an extremely precise electronic circuit control and pure aluminum-plated diaphragm capsule. It also features a cardioid polar pickup pattern with high output sensitivity, low noise and a wide dynamic range. The CM-2250 is an ideal uses are: Personal recording on a computer, podcasting, and many other detail oriented uses. NOTE: This microphone is set from the factory for 48V phantom power use, optional XLR cable available here. It may also be 5V powered, typical of connections to most laptops and portable devices. To change the voltage setting, unscrew the bottom plate of the microphone, pull the body of the microphone down, revealing the voltage selection switch. A specially made XLR to 3.5mm cable is included with the mic for this application.
