SAMTEC BSW12504SS Socket Strip

The BSW series from Samtec are bottom-entry socket strips designed for through-hole mounting. These connectors feature a 0.025-inch (0.635mm) square post and are compatible with various Samtec series including TSW, MTSW, HTSW, MTLW, TSM, EW, ZW, HW, DW, and PHT. Available in standard and low-insertion force options with solder tails, they mount on the underside of the PCB for a low-profile setup. The series offers single and dual row configurations with different plug spacing options, including extended versions. With a pitch of 2.54mm, these connectors are suitable for soldering and plugging from the same side, supporting high-temperature soldering processes. Made with a black thermoplastic insulator and phosphor bronze contacts, they operate reliably within a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C with 30µ” gold plating. Contact resistance is approximately 10 milliohms. They comply with UL E111594 and CSA 090871 standards, and feature standoff options for both single and double row configurations.
