The Airpax SNAPAK series is a snap-acting hydraulic magnetic circuit protector designed to combine power switching and reliable circuit protection in a compact package. This innovative design replaces three separate components – a power switch, fuse, and fuse holder – simplifying assembly, reducing inventory, and increasing panel density. The SNAPAK operates on both DC and 50/60Hz power, eliminating the need for separate units, and is available in 400Hz versions. Its snap-acting design ensures immediate opening and closing, preventing contact “teasing” and minimizing arcing. Certified to UL, CSA, TUV, CCC, and CE standards, the SNAPAK offers enhanced aesthetics with paddle/rocker handles and push-pull/push-to-reset actuators.
