The Airpax SNAPAK series is a snap-acting hydraulicmagnetic circuit protector designed to combine power switching and accurate, reliable circuit protection in a single, aesthetically pleasing package. This innovative design replaces three separate components – a power switch, a fuse, and a fuse holder – with a single unit, streamlining assembly processes, reducing inventory requirements, and increasing panel density. The SNAPAK is versatile, operating on both DC and 50/60Hz power, and is available in 400Hz versions. Offered with paddle, rocker, push-pull, and push-to-reset actuators, and a variety of mounting hardware, the SNAPAK series is suitable for a wide range of applications including office appliances, electronic data processing, medical equipment, and business machines. Its snap-acting design ensures immediate opening and closing of contacts, preventing operator “teasing” and minimizing arcing.
