The Airpax SNAPAK series is a snap-acting hydraulicmagnetic circuit protector designed to combine power switching and accurate, reliable circuit protection in a single, aesthetically pleasing package. This innovative design integrates the functions of a power switch, fuse, and fuse holder, reducing assembly time, minimizing inventory requirements, and increasing panel density. The SNAPAK is versatile, operating on both DC and 50/60Hz power, and is available in 400Hz versions. Offered with paddle, rocker, push-pull, and push-to-reset actuators, and a variety of mounting hardware, the SNAPAK series finds applications in office appliances, electronic data processing, medical equipment, and more. Its snap-acting design ensures immediate opening and closing of contacts, preventing operator “teasing” and minimizing arcing.
