The 255 series 10A 3PDT/4PST industrial latching relay is a two-coil version of the general-purpose type 219 relay. It features a latching mechanism where the contacts transfer when the operate coil is momentarily energized and remain in that position even after the coil is de-energized. A second coil allows for electrical reset of the contacts when energized. An optional manual reset actuator is available. All contacts operate from a common armature to prevent overlapping, and the coils are rated for continuous duty. Both coils can be energized simultaneously without damage.
