The B255XCXP-120VAC is a latching relay housed in a clear polycarbonate enclosure. It features three-pole double throw (3PDT) silver alloy contacts with gold diffusion. This 255-series relay includes an integral seismic-qualified hold-down clip, a single-latch coil, and a polycarbonate cover. Designed for continuous duty, it mounts on a socket with quick-connect terminals and has a coil resistance of 540 ohms. When the operate coil is momentarily energized, the contacts switch and stay in that position even after power is removed. A second coil provides electrical reset when momentarily energized. All contacts operate from a common armature to prevent contact overlap. Electrical specifications include 5VA coil power, 1500Vrms dielectric strength across open contacts, and an electrical life of 100,000 operations. The relay operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C, with operate and release times of up to 25ms and 20ms respectively. Suitable for industrial applications.
