The A103-008 is a panel-mounted control and indication device housed in a 36mm x 72mm DIN standard case. It is well-suited for event counting operations requiring a preset, featuring an internal solid-state relay that outputs a logic signal to other control devices or external relays. The unit is field-programmable to display elapsed time in various units and equipped with an 8-digit supertwist LCD display that can be backlit by connecting an external 10-28V DC power supply. It accepts NPN and dry contact inputs for low-speed counting (up to 30Hz) and PNP or square wave signals for high-speed applications up to 10kHz. Powered by one or two replaceable 3V lithium batteries, the device allows for easy battery replacement without removing the old one. Its NEMA 4X front panel and noise immunity testing to IEC 801 Level 3 ensure suitability for harsh environments.
