The ILQ615-4X009 is a 4-channel, 16-pin optocoupler that uses Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) infrared light-emitting diodes (IR LEDs) and high-gain NPN phototransistors. Constructed with over/under lead-frame optical coupling and double-moulded insulation technology, it offers a withstand test voltage of 7,500VAC peak and a working voltage of 1,700VRMS. The device features well-defined current transfer ratio (CTR) characteristics across bins, making it suitable for both DC and AC voltage detection applications. Its design eliminates the phototransistor base connection, enhancing electrical noise immunity in industrial environments. With guaranteed non-saturated and saturated switching capabilities, it is ideal for medium-speed data input/output and control systems. The device's consistent channel-to-channel matching and improved common-mode rejection facilitate reliable level detection and switching, especially when interfaced with CMOS logic at a forward current of 1mA.
