The MAL213817102E3 is an axial leaded, miniature polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor with non-solid electrolyte. It features a cylindrical case with pressure relief and is insulated with a blue sleeve. This capacitor provides high ripple current capability and is suitable for low and high frequency filtering, energy storage, and power applications that require high capacitance and power ratings. Its construction includes an electrochemically etched aluminum anode foil with an oxide dielectric layer, a paper spacer impregnated with fluid electrolyte forming the second electrode, and a second foil in contact with the electrolyte. Additional features include being charge and discharge proof, with an input buffer that stores energy during low mains voltage and helps prevent switching noise from affecting the power source, as well as an output buffer that acts as a current sink for inductor and filtering, adapting to changes in power output.
