The EcoGen EcoCable Mini is a recyclable, halogen-free cable developed by Alpha Wire, designed for applications requiring smaller and lighter wiring solutions. It features mPPE insulation and jacketing, making it 32% smaller and 44% lighter than standard PVC cables while offering better performance and minimal environmental impact. The cable provides significant reductions in size and weight, simplifying routing and installation, thereby saving time during production and maintenance. It is ideal for power and signal transmission in medical devices and other applications where space and weight are critical. The cable also exhibits up to 92% lower outgassing compared to PVC control cables, reducing corrosion and contamination. Its features include a tenfold larger bend radius for increased flexibility, certified safety standards (UL AWM 21460, UL VW-1, CSA I A/B FT1, CE, RoHS, REACH, and WEEE compliance), and environmentally friendly construction free from halogens, phthalates, and heavy metals. Finely stranded tinned copper conductors ensure excellent flexibility, with an operational temperature range from -40°C to +80°C.
