The C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers are designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage capacity in a compact form factor. They are available in 1 to 6 poles, with current ratings from 0.02 to 100 amps, and are UL Recognized up to 480VAC or 150VDC and UL489 Listed up to 240VAC or 125VDC. These breakers feature optional time delays, various terminal and actuator styles, and colors. They incorporate a unique arc chute design that allows for interrupting capacities up to 10,000 amps. The thermoset, glass-filled polyester half-shell construction provides enhanced mechanical and electrical strength. Wiping contacts with mechanical linkage and two-step actuation ensure clean contact surfaces, high contact pressure, and extended contact lifecycle. Available with either American Standard or Metric threaded stud terminals, or saddle clamp screw terminals. An optional mid-trip handle provides visual indication of overload conditions, with or without an alarm. This model includes a single-pole auxiliary/alarm switch (SPDT) with 0.110-inch quick-connect terminals. Suitable for 50/60Hz DC applications with a current rating of 80 amperes.
