The C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers are designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage capacity in a compact form factor. These breakers are available in 1 to 6 poles and current ratings from 0.02 to 100 amps. They are UL Recognized for up to 480VAC and 150VDC, and UL489 Listed for up to 240VAC and 125VDC. Variants offer different time delay options, terminal types, actuator styles, and color options. The breaker features a unique arc chute design that enables interrupting capacities of up to 10,000 amps. Its thermoset, glass-filled polyester half-shell construction enhances mechanical and electrical strength. Mechanical linkage with wiping contacts ensures high contact pressure, longer contact lifespan, and reliable electrical performance. Terminals are available with either American Standard or Metric threaded studs or saddle clamp screw terminals. An optional mid-trip handle actuator provides visual overload indication, with or without an alarm feature. This specific model configuration includes an auxiliary/alarm switch without auxiliary switch, a frequency of 50/60Hz with medium delay, and a current rating of 50 amperes.
