This fitting is IP68 rated and approved for NEMA 4, 4X, 6, and 6P applications. Its ratchet design in the sealing nut assembly offers superior anti-vibration protection and a secure grip on the cable. Featuring Acme threads on the body, installation is quicker and prevents skipping. Constructed entirely from nylon with a Buna N sealing gland, it resists salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents (note: this resistance is not rated by UL). The fitting is available in multiple sizes to accommodate flexible cord diameters from 0.065 inches (1.7 mm) to 1.730 inches (44.0 mm). It is recommended to select the smallest fitting size that fits your application for optimal performance.
