The 1414PH08 is a mild-steel junction box enclosure designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including instrument housing, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic control enclosures, and terminal wiring boxes. It offers excellent protection in wet or outdoor environments, suitable for hose-down conditions and full weatherproofing. The enclosure features a phosphatized finish with a smooth ANSI 61 grey powder coating, along with a removable inner panel finished in white powder coating. It complies with NEMA-3R, 4, 12, and 13 standards, providing robust protection. Made from 16 or 14 gauge steel, the body and cover are formed from 14 gauge steel with seamless, welded seams free of knockouts or holes. The enclosure includes welded mounting brackets, a continuous hinged cover secured with stainless steel clamps and screws, and a removable stainless steel hinge pin. A poured-in-place gasket ensures a tight seal, and internal threaded weld studs facilitate inner panel mounting. For grounding and bonding, a grounding stud is located in the enclosure, and a bonding stud is on the door.
