Hammond Manufacturing 1598RDBK Datasheet & Stock

The 1598RDBK is a shielded electronic instrument enclosure made of flame-retardant ABS plastic, ideal for mounting printed circuit boards. Each enclosure half is internally coated with a copper conductive layer to provide effective RFI/EMI shielding, offering over 75 dB attenuation from 1 MHz to 1 GHz. The enclosure features molded vertical 1.5 mm PCB guides on the front and rear, and includes mounting provisions such as integral horizontal Eurocard-compatible mounts and molded standoffs suitable for #6 x 1/4" screws. It comes with front and rear panels made of brushed 5052-H32 aluminum with protective paper, along with top and bottom covers, two cover screws, and four rubber feet. Secure assembly is facilitated with M3 x 0.5 x 10 mm Phillips screws threaded into brass bushings. The enclosure complies with UL94 V-0 flammability ratings and is suitable for industrial applications requiring repeated assembly and disassembly.
