This medium-strength anaerobic acrylic sealant is designed for threadlocking applications. Supplied as a wax-like semi-solid, it cures in the absence of air when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces. The product provides consistent strength on various metal substrates, including passive metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. It is particularly useful where liquid sealants are too fluid or difficult to apply directly to threaded parts, as it can be applied in a convenient stick format, ensuring even coverage. The sealant effectively secures and seals bolts, nuts, and studs to prevent loosening caused by vibration. It permits disassembly with hand tools and is tolerant of minor contamination from oils and cutting fluids. Not suitable for use in pure oxygen, oxygen-rich systems, or with chlorine and other strong oxidizers.
