LOCTITE 49945 General Purpose Adhesive
LOCTITE 499 is a versatile ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for a wide range of bonding applications. Its formulation provides excellent resistance to thermal cycling and humidity, making it ideal for environments with fluctuating temperatures and moisture exposure. It bonds effectively to rubbers, plastics, and metals, offering a strong and durable connection. The adhesive cures rapidly in the presence of moisture, developing full functional strength within a short time, although full chemical and solvent resistance takes approximately 24 hours. It is not recommended for use in pure oxygen or with strong oxidizing materials.
