The 76764 is a silver-grade, heavy-duty anti-seize compound formulated to resist galling and corrosion while reducing wear in high-pressure applications. This temperature-resistant, petroleum-based lubricant is reinforced with graphite and metallic flakes, ensuring inertness and preventing evaporation or hardening in extreme cold or heat. It facilitates lubrication and easy disassembly of components exposed to high temperatures and heavy contact pressures. Typical uses include lubricating boiler and oven parts, jet engines, studs, pumps, couplings, splines, bolts, bushings, pipes, flanges, and industrial turbines operating up to 1,600°F (871°C). The product has a thixotropic viscosity, is non-curing, and meets MIL-PRF-907 performance standards. When used on bolts, it enhances clamp load at the same torque. It has an 870°C temperature resistance and a 0.18K-value. Not suitable for use in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, and not recommended as a lubricant for chlorine or other strong oxidizers.
