The MAX6241BESA+ is a low-noise, precision voltage reference in an 8-pin NSOIC package. It provides a fixed output voltage of 4.096V with an extremely low temperature coefficient of ±2.5ppm/°C and an initial accuracy of 0.02%. Utilizing buried zener technology, it offers the lowest noise performance, load regulation of 1ppm/mA at 15mA, and excellent line and load regulation with low output impedance at high frequencies. The device features optional external trimming and noise reduction, making it suitable for high-resolution data conversion systems up to 16 bits. Typical applications include high-precision ADC and DAC systems, digital voltmeters, instrumentation, and precision current sources. Operating over temperatures from -40°C to 85°C and input voltages from 8V to 36V, it delivers very low noise of 2.4μV P-P (0.1Hz to 10Hz), excellent transient response, and long-term stability of 20ppm per 1000 hours.
