The Mega-Fit female-to-Mega-Fit female off-the-shelf cable assembly supports a current rating of 25A and features a compact connector suitable for prototyping and production. It has polarized and uniquely keyed connectors to prevent mis-mating and electrical arcing, along with an internal locking mechanism for secure connection. The housing is made of flame-retardant material meeting V0 and glow-wire European standards. Additional features include terminal backout prevention (TPA), low insertion force, and a new latch design providing superior retention. The assembly employs high-conductivity copper contacts with tin plating and is certified by UL and CSA. Designed for use with 12 AWG wires, the maximum voltage is 600V AC/DC, with operating temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. Mating and unmating forces are up to 6.8N and 5N respectively, with durability up to 25 mating cycles. Suitable for applications in commercial vehicles, home appliances, industrial equipment, and telecommunications.
