This off-the-shelf Mega-Fit single-row cable assembly provides a 25A current rating and is available in various lengths. It features a compact connector with polarizing and unique keying to protect terminals, ensure compatibility with all current Mega-Fit single row headers, and prevent electrical arcing during charging. The assembly includes a new latch with grip steps for superior retention and a polarized header that helps prevent electrical arcing and supports the keying features. The design allows low-mating force and secure connection, making it suitable for use in commercial vehicles, home appliances, industrial, and telecommunications applications. The female-to-pigtail cable assembly has an internal locking mechanism for reliable connection, a housing compliant with V0 and glow-wire European standards, and a uniquely keyed design to prevent mis-mating. It includes TPA for terminal retention and features high-conductivity copper contacts with tin plating. The assembly is UL and CSA certified, rated for up to 600V AC/DC, with operating temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. Maximum mating force is 6.8N, and durability is rated for up to 25 mating cycles.
