This Mega-Fit female-to-pigtail off-the-shelf cable assembly delivers a 25A current rating and is available in various cable lengths. It features a compact connector with polarizing and unique keying to ensure proper mating, protect terminals, and prevent electrical arcing. The assembly includes a new latch with enhanced retention, an individually polarized header, and a locking mechanism that supports terminal stability with low insertion force. The housing is made of flame-retardant V0-rated material meeting European glow-wire standards. Designed to prevent mis-mating, the assembly incorporates a terminal position assurance (TPA) and lead-in guides for secure connection. The components include high-conductivity copper contacts with tin plating, certified by UL and CSA, suitable for use with 12 AWG wire at up to 600V AC/DC, and operable across temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. Mating and unmating forces are optimized for durability over at least 25 cycles.
