The Pico-Spox 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) products designed for easy prototyping and preproduction globally. They utilize popular terminals that are compatible with widely available crimp applicators. Features include a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that provides latch protection and secure terminal retention. The 1.5mm pitch connector offers reliable mating retention while saving approximately 30% of space compared to 2mm wire-to-board systems. Typical applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and medical technology. The series includes Pico-SPOX-to-Pigtail cable assemblies with readily available tooling, SMT-type plug headers for automatic assembly, and polarization keys to prevent mismating. Certifications include UL (E29179) and CSA (LR 19980). The assemblies support a maximum voltage of 250VAC, a maximum current of 2.5A per contact, and use 24 AWG UL 10002 wire/cable with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and natural-colored resin. They are rated for up to 10 mating cycles and operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +105°C.
