The electric heater is a 400W device designed to protect mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment from low temperatures, condensation, and corrosion. This thermostatically controlled, fan-driven heater features an aluminum housing with a brushed finish and operates at 50/60Hz with a nominal current of 3.72A. The adjustable thermostat range is from 0 to 100°F (-18 to 38°C). The fan employs ball bearings and draws cool air from the bottom of the enclosure, passing it across the thermostat and heating element before releasing the heated air through the top of the unit. It includes a terminal strip with a clamp connector suitable for both solid and stranded wires. Suitable for use in communications, networking, and industrial applications, it comes with the heater and four self-tapping screws. Not recommended for dusty, dirty, corrosive, or hazardous locations, and precautions should be taken to prevent burns or damage when installing on surfaces like wood panels.
