These heavy-duty resistors are built to withstand frequent start-stop cycles commonly found in motor starting, dynamic braking, and similar industrial processes. The corrugated resistive wire is securely fused to a ceramic core with a protective vitreous enamel coating, enhancing durability and promoting rapid cooling.
