OHMITE's 280 Series Corrib[®] fixed and adjustable vitreous enamel power resistors are ideal for applications involving high currents at very low resistance values. These heavy-duty resistors are designed to withstand frequent start-stop cycles and are suitable for motor starting, dynamic braking, and similar applications. They feature corrugated resistive wire fused to a ceramic core with a protective vitreous enamel coating for durability. RoHS compliant versions are available by adding an 'E' suffix to the part number. The hollow-core design allows for secure fastening to chassis surfaces.
