The TE Connectivity D-108-00CS227 Heat Shrink Shield Terminator is a specialized component used for securely attaching a ground wire to the shield of a cable. Constructed with a heat-shrinkable, radiation cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) insulation sleeve, it provides excellent insulation and environmental protection. The device also incorporates polyolefin-based thermoplastic meltable inserts for a secure and reliable connection. Designed for cables rated for at least 135°C with silver-plated copper shields, this terminator meets Raychem specification RT-1404 and NAS-1747 when properly installed.
