The 724MO from SCS is a workstation monitor designed to continuously test and monitor two dual-wire wrist straps and one work surface mat for proper grounding. It adheres to ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards and ESD TR12-01, ensuring compliance with electrostatic discharge control requirements. The system uses a DC current source with a special wristband and wrist cord containing two independent elements and a current limiting resistor to measure loop resistance. It features adjustable test voltage settings (9V or 16V), customizable upper resistance limits (10 or 35 MΩ), and configurable audible alarms with volume control. The device provides visible and audible alerts for improper grounding and is easy to install and calibrate (NIST traceable). Compact in size (6.5 x 3.125 x 1.375 inches), it also includes an operator remote (2.75 x 1 x 1 inches). Suitable for test and measurement applications, it meets UL and CE requirements. The package includes the workstation monitor, remote, cabling, terminal blocks, mounting hardware, and calibration certificate. Not suitable for use by individuals with pacemakers or in explosive environments.
