The ESQ series from Samtec comprises through-hole elevated socket strips designed for PC/104 applications. These self-nesting socket strips are compatible with various Samtec connector series, including TSW, MTSW, EW, MTLW, TSS, ZSS, TSM, DW, ZW, HW, TSSH, and HTSS. They feature standard and low insertion force contacts with a 0.025-inch (0.635 mm) square tail. Available in single, dual, or triple-row configurations, they have a pitch spacing of 2.54 mm and support between 1 to 36 contacts per row with a vertical orientation. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold plating of 20 micrometers, capable of operating in temperatures from -55°C to 125°C. The insulator is made of black glass-filled polyester, and the contact system is Tiger Buy. These socket strips comply with UL E111594 and CSA 090871 standards, making them suitable for industrial applications.
