The Poke-In series low-profile surface-mount wire connector is suitable for various design requirements, offering 1, 2, and 3-position configurations. These releasable poke-in connectors feature an integrated conductor release mechanism that is recessed to prevent damage during multiple insertions and removals. Designed primarily for LED lighting applications, the connector supports 18 to 22 AWG solid and stranded conductors and is packaged in tape and reel for efficient high-speed SMT assembly. Its flat top surface facilitates vacuum pick-up and withstands re-flow soldering temperatures. The robust wire release system reduces the risk of damage during installation or rework. The low-profile design with rounded corners minimizes obstruction and shadows in LED lighting, while the connector does not require specialized tools for wire insertion or removal. Additionally, a 2-position variant with an 8mm centerline supports high voltage connections.
