3M Scotch Varnished Cambric Tape 2510 is a flexible, electrically insulating, and moisture-resistant tape made from woven cotton cambric fabric coated with a high-grade yellow electrical insulating varnish. Designed for insulating joints requiring rapid re-entry, such as motor lead and service drop connections, it provides excellent mechanical protection and puncture resistance. It's rated for Class A (105°C) and offers stable electrical properties up to 105°C. Proper application involves half-lapped layers with sufficient tension, and jacketed with Scotch Rubber and Vinyl Splicing Tapes for a complete seal.
