The 5233 is a rugged and economical True-RMS digital multimeter designed for safety and versatility in electrical measurements. It features a non-contact voltage (NCV) detection function to identify live circuits and complies with IEC61010 standards, rated 600V CAT IV. The multimeter offers multiple measurement functions including Voltage (AC/DC), Ohms, Continuity, Diodes, Capacitance, Frequency, Duty Cycle, and Current up to 10A. It can also measure temperature in °C or °F using K-type thermocouples. The device provides an AC voltmeter with low input impedance for detecting ghost voltages and includes a rotary switch with two OFF positions, one of which activates the NCV function with a red display alert when near live wires.
