The FIT®-600 F6001/4 BK008 from Alpha Wire is a black heat shrink tubing made of chlorinated polyolefin. It offers greater flexibility than standard XLPO and twice the tensile strength of silicone rubber. This tubing provides effective protection and sealing for electrical terminations, as well as improved mechanical durability, while maintaining a clean appearance when used alone or on OEM equipment. Features include a 2:1 shrink ratio, resistance to oil, heat, and abrasion, and a temperature range of -75°C to 121°C. It fully recovers at 130°C and has a tensile strength of 1500 psi (10.34 N/mm²). The dielectric strength is 300 V/mil, and it is flame retardant with UL VW-1 rating. It meets AMS-DTL-23053/1 Class 1 and 2 standards. Applications include industrial use, maintenance and repair, and safety purposes.
