The Mini PV series high-durability wire-to-board connector system is designed to connect discrete wires to printed circuit boards with high reliability. It features dual-metal receptacle terminals that interface with industry-standard 0.025-inch square posts, and offers various options for containment, protection, and guidance on both sides of the connector. Wire-side PV® receptacle terminals can be terminated to wires for discrete use or inserted into multiple-circuit MINI-LATCH connector housings equipped with optional polarization keys. The printed circuit side includes shrouded, multi-post headers with an integral friction feature that securely grips the mating MINI-LATCH housings, reducing disengagement risk. Users can select from three different spring pressures to customize insertion and withdrawal forces for specific applications. The connector's unique dual-metal PV® receptacles maintain contact pressure through up to 1,000 mating cycles. Beryllium copper springs provide high normal force at the interface, while brass contact bodies ensure gas-tight crimps. MINI-LATCH housings securely retain the PV® wire contacts and are available in single or double-row configurations. Keyed housings and header keyways offer polarization to prevent mis-mating. The two-wall header design provides mechanical strength and cost efficiency, with an operational temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. This versatile connector is suitable for use in consumer electronics, sensing and instrumentation, medical devices, defense, military and aerospace, communications and networking, and industrial applications.
