The 6N136-000E is a high-speed, TTL-compatible optocoupler featuring a single channel with an open-collector output. It uses an insulating layer between the input LED and the integrated photodetector to provide electrical isolation. Separate connections for the photodiode bias and the output transistor's collector enhance switching speed by reducing base-collector capacitance, allowing performance up to hundred times faster than conventional phototransistor couplers. Designed for high-speed digital applications, a standard 16mA TTL sink current through the input LED can drive one TTL load with a 5.6 kΩ pull-up resistor. Suitable for industrial, signal processing, motor drive and control, and power management applications. Proper static precautions should be observed during handling to prevent damage or degradation due to electrostatic discharge.
