The DS1225AB-200+ is a 64K non-volatile SRAM in a 28-pin EDIP package. It offers a storage capacity of 65,536 bits, organized as 8,192 words of 8 bits each. This device features a built-in lithium energy source and control circuitry that monitors VCC voltage. In case of power loss, the lithium cell automatically supplies power and disables write operations to protect data integrity. The SRAM is compatible with existing 8K x 8 static RAMs and directly replaces 8K x 8 EEPROMs in the same pin configuration, including the 2764 EPROM and 2864 EEPROM, ensuring easy integration with improved performance. It supports unlimited write cycles without additional circuitry, making it suitable for embedded applications. The device operates at a supply voltage between 4.75V and 5.25V, with an operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C, and features a read/write access time of 200ns. The lithium energy source is disconnected when not in use to retain freshness until first power-up.
