The DS1834AS+T&R is a dual EconoReset device housed in an 8-pin NSOIC package. It monitors three critical system conditions: 5V supply, 3.3V supply, and an external override. The device features a precision temperature reference and comparator circuit to monitor the supply voltages. When an out-of-tolerance condition is detected, it generates an internal power-fail signal that resets the affected supply to an active state. It includes a pushbutton input for manual reset control, which is internally debounced. When the pushbutton is pressed and released, both resets are asserted for approximately 350ms. The device operates over a voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V and a temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. It is powered by the higher of the 5V or 3.3V inputs, making it suitable for systems with dual power supplies. It asserts resets during power transients, reducing the need for discrete components. Features include a temperature-compensated voltage reference, voltage sensors, and CMOS outputs for low current operation. It is ideal for system monitoring applications.
