The MAX6622UE9A+ is a 5-channel precision temperature monitor housed in a 16-pin TSSOP package. It features a built-in multi-channel temperature sensor capable of monitoring its own temperature as well as up to four external diode-connected transistors. Each temperature channel has programmable alert thresholds, with channels 1 and 4 also supporting programmable overtemperature thresholds. When a monitored temperature exceeds its threshold, a status bit is set in the register, activating open-drain alert outputs, ALERT and OVERT, for system notifications. The device supports a standard SMBus-compatible two-wire serial interface for reading temperature data and configuring thresholds. It operates with a supply voltage between 3V and 5.5V, including four thermal diode inputs and a local temperature sensor. Remote temperature measurement accuracy is ±1°C within the 60°C to 100°C range. Monitoring starts at power-on register (POR), ensuring fail-safe operation.
