The MAX908CPD+ is a quad high-speed, ultra-low power TTL comparator packaged in a 14-pin DIP. Designed for systems powered from a single 5V supply, it offers a typical propagation delay of 40ns with 5mV input overdrive and consumes approximately 3.5mW per comparator. It features a wide input common mode range from 200mV below ground to within 1.5V of the positive rail. The outputs are TTL compatible and require no external pull-up resistors. All inputs and outputs can be shorted to either supply rail without damage. Built-in hysteresis ensures clean switching even with slow input signals. It is ideal for use in battery-powered systems, high-speed A/D and V/F converters, line receivers, threshold detectors, high-speed sampling circuits, and zero crossing detectors.
