The Pico-SPOX 1.5 tin discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) products designed for easy prototyping and preproduction applications worldwide. They feature compatible terminals accessible with widely available crimp tools. The assemblies include a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that ensures secure terminal retention and latch protection. With a 1.5mm pitch, these connectors provide reliable mating retention while saving approximately 30% space compared to traditional 2mm wire-to-board connectors. Typical uses include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and Medical Technology. The series supports automatic assembly with SMT-type plug headers, has polarization keys to prevent mismating, and is certified by UL and CSA. They support up to 250VAC, 2.5A per contact, use UL 10002 24 AWG wire, and are constructed with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts, and tin plating. Designed for durability up to 10 connection cycles and operating within -10°C to +105°C temperature range.
