The Pico-Spox 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) solutions designed for both prototyping and initial production. They utilize popular terminals that are compatible with widely available crimp applicators, simplifying assembly processes. The assemblies feature vertical and right-angle single-row headers with a unique friction lock mechanism that provides latch protection and reliable terminal retention. With a 1.5mm pitch connector, they ensure secure mating while maintaining a compact design, offering approximately 30% space savings compared to traditional 2mm wire-to-board connectors. Suitable for applications in consumer electronics, industrial automation, and medical technology, these cable assemblies come with readily available tooling and facilitate automated assembly via SMT-type plug headers. They include polarization keys to prevent mis-mating, are UL and CSA certified, and rated for up to 250VAC and 2.5A per contact. Made with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and UL 10002 wire (24 AWG), they are designed for durability up to 10 cycles and operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +105°C.
