The Pico-Spox 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) solutions designed for both prototyping and preproduction. They feature popular terminals for easy access to crimp applicators, which are widely available. The assembly includes a vertical or right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that provides latch protection and ensures secure terminal retention. The 1.5 mm pitch connector offers reliable mating with space savings of approximately 30% compared to 2 mm wire-to-board systems. These assemblies are suitable for applications in consumer electronics, industrial automation, and medical technology. The 218397 series Pico-SPOX-to-Pigtail cable assemblies are compatible with readily available tooling and employ an SMT-type plug header for automated assembly. The friction lock enhances mating retention, while polarization keys prevent mismating. They are UL and CSA certified, rated up to 250VAC and 2.5A per contact. Constructed with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and natural-colored resin, they support up to 10 mating cycles and operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +105°C.
