It features an integrated triple 10-bit, 162 MHz video DAC for converting digital DisplayPort signals to analog VGA output. The adapter supports video resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200 with reduced blanking. It includes EDID pass-through from the computer to the display, spread spectrum technology for EMI reduction, automatic sink detection, and operates in low power standby mode based on sink detection. Powered directly from the DisplayPort source, it uses 3.3V I/O and 1.2V core voltage, with active power consumption around 400mW and standby power around 15mW.
